The Chroma Quartet was founded in 2015 during the Quartets on Stage Seminar. It is made up of professional musicians who stand out at the orchestral level, as well as soloists and academics. The Chroma Quartet is one of the comprehensive artistic proposals committed to art today; aims to achieve artistic quality through musical innovation and the teaching of music as a universal language.

In 2019, the group concluded the resident quartet program at the University of Victoria, Canada, obtaining the Master of String Quartet Execution under the guidance of the Lafayette String Quartet. Likewise, the group has been awarded the Second Prize in the La Superior National String Quartet Contest 2017, the MM Ponce Prize in the Aguascalientes Chamber Music Festival 2016 and the First Prize in the Mateo National Chamber Music Contest. Oliva 2016. He currently has his first record material in collaboration with the famous jazz pianist Edgar Dorantes, entitled Chromaswing.
